On Saturday, December 9th, 2023, we launched our first EQ festival in West Palm Beach, Florida. In partnership with KOP Mentoring Network, Living Word Christian Community, the Riviera Beach Fire Rescue Department, the Riviera Beach Police Department and the INCREDIBLE support of the Children's Service Council, we served +120 individuals in Rivera Beach with +30 individuals, as we provided incredible EQ stations, school and hygiene bags for children and adults.

On Saturday, November 4th, 2023, we celebrated this amazing festival organized by SER-KALLAI, Arizona Association for Foster and Adoptive Parents (AZAFAP), Neighborhood Ministries, Six Seconds, Three Precious Miracles, Catholic Charities and Free Arts to commemorate UNICEF World Children’s Day! We provided a unique experience for +170 children and adults, recognizing the power of emotions, well-being, children's rights and sustainable development goals.

On May 6th, 2023, we celebrated our 3rd Emotional Intelligence Festival for Children and Families and Foster Care Awareness Month in Phoenix, Arizona. In partnership with AZAFAP, Neighborhood Ministries, Free Arts, Three Precious Miracles and Skye's the Limit Foundation, we brought mindfulness, EQ and art stations to all ages, free resources and giveaways for all ages, licensing training hours for foster parents, food and snacks for all participants, foam trucks and bounce houses and much more! In this incredible festival, we had a total of:

🤸🏾‍♀️ 134 children (34 adoptive, 40 biological, 54 foster and 6 kinship)

💁🏼‍♀️ 80 adults and

🛶🍃🫶 Our integration outing was GREAT. It was the MINDFUL SPACE for our teens and young adults to be fully present, as they connected with nature through kayaking 🛶and meditation 🧘🏾‍♀️.

We can't wait for our next outing, which will come with our upcoming series on Saturdays, July 29 to August 26 from 10:00-12:00 pm.

Spark! 2023 was AMAZING! We had 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 10 families, 👩 16 adults, 🤸 20 children, 🙋‍♀️ 12 volunteers ,🎈5 stations with Emotional Intelligence (EQ) activities, 💡Coaching on-site for parents and caregivers from our Certified EQ professionals, and the building of a beautiful community in San Diego, California, on Saturday, March 25th, as we discovered the importance of EQ to thrive, achieve goals, build resilience and improve our well-being. On August 20th, we celebrated this amazing virtual event with Latin-American children from Colombia and Puerto Rico, where they strengthened their emotional intelligence through mindfulness, art and pantomime.

On Saturday, November 19th, 2022, we celebrated this amazing festival organized by SER-KALLAI, Arizona Association for Foster and Adoptive Parents (AZAFAP) and Neighborhood Ministries in partnership with Six Seconds and UNICEF World Children’s Day! We provided a unique experience for +250 children and adults, recognizing the power of emotions, well-being, children's rights and sustainable development goals during National Adoption Month.

On Saturday, August 13, we celebrated this amazing festival with sponsorship of Indigo Dragon Center to inaugurate our programs and workshops in San Diego, California! Children and families gathered in this beautiful place to practice emotional intelligence, discovering the power of feelings to thrive, accomplish goals, develop empathy and build well-being. On Saturday, May 21, we celebrated this amazing festival, in partnership with the AZAFAP, Three Precious Miracles and Free Arts of Arizona. With 200+ participants, 50+ volunteers, 20+ sponsor and supporting organizations, we spread the best of EQ with all our families. Check out the best of our festival here! 

"I look forward to Saturdays!", mentions one of our participants from the Imagine holistic Program at West Palm Beach, FL. "It is a wonderful space not only for us, as mentors, but for the kids to feel free to express their emotions and connect with who they are. It is definitely a 'judgement-free' zone, where feelings are no longer good nor bad, but useful information for them to choose better with what surrounds them.", says our Dir. of Programs, Kasha Deese.

During Spring 2022, SER-KALLAI implemented the Ignite holistic Program with 11 youth from Phoenix, AZ, where they explored 25 competencies that strengthened how they see themselves, navigate feelings, interact with others, make decisions and experience well-being. "I realized that I'm important, I have emotions and it's okay to feel them, even when they don't feel nice", mentions one of our participants.
